金鶯隊昨役中止5連敗窘境，陳偉殷連2場投出優質先發，但金鶯隊總教練修瓦特2局上就因抗議好球帶，被主審高爾曼趕出場，這也是修總本季首度被請出場，他賽後仍無法接受判決。
「我老媽可能會覺得我這樣做很不好，但我們點出了很好的看法，」修總說，「主審判的這些都是很明顯的壞球，這傢伙（美聯勝投王凱寇）當然不需要幫忙，這點是肯定的。」
之所以會讓修總大動肝火，主要是金鶯隊前2局就被高爾曼拉弓5次，2局最後被三振出局的打者弗萊厄提也跟主審碎碎念。
不過修總之所以會被判出場，還是他在場邊大聲質疑高爾曼的好球帶，並且在換局、他被趕出場後，還到場上用手勢比出好球帶位置，認為太偏袒太空人隊。
還好修總退場後，主炮亞當瓊斯開轟贏球，修總表示：「每次當事情不夠順利時，你就會想說或許也多少能改變一下結果。」
